Job Location- Chandigarh

Mutual Fund Operations

Role Responsibilities:

  • Transaction Processing:

    Accurately and efficiently process a variety of mutual fund transactions, including purchases, redemptions, switches, Systematic Investment Plans (SIPs), and dividends, ensuring all are completed in a timely manner.
  • Order Management:

    Oversee the timely execution, confirmation, and reconciliation of investor orders to ensure smooth and accurate order processing.
  • Client Servicing:

    Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering proactive solutions to both clients and distributors, ensuring satisfaction and fostering long-term relationships.
  • Regulatory Compliance:

    Ensure strict adherence to all relevant regulations, including those set by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) and other governing bodies, while maintaining up-to-date knowledge of any changes in financial regulations.
  • Record Keeping and Reporting:

    Maintain comprehensive and accurate records of transactions, generate daily, weekly, and monthly reports as required, and ensure all documentation is compliant with internal and regulatory standards.
  • AMC Coordination:

    Liaise with Asset Management Companies (AMCs) to resolve any operational challenges, confirm investment details, and ensure the smooth processing of transactions.
  • System Utilization:

    Effectively use mutual fund software and other financial systems to process transactions, track performance, and resolve any related issues, ensuring all tools are used optimally.
  • Operational Efficiency:

    Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency, accuracy, and speed of transaction processing and other operational tasks.
  • Risk Management:

    Identify potential risks in transaction processes or client interactions, taking necessary actions to mitigate them and ensure compliance with internal controls and best practices.
  • Team Collaboration:

    Work collaboratively with other internal departments, such as Compliance, Sales, and Finance, to ensure seamless daily operations and alignment with overall business goals.
  • Client Feedback and Relationship Building:

    Regularly interact with clients to gather feedback, resolve issues, and build a strong rapport, ensuring an outstanding client experience at all times.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

Essential Skills:

  • Strong analytical abilities and keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while being a collaborative team player.
  • Capacity to thrive under pressure and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in mutual fund operations or a related field.
  • Familiarity with financial regulations and industry standards.
  • Experience with financial software and CRM systems.
