Back End Engineer

Job Description for Backend Engineers (BE) Role: We are seeking a highly-skilled, experienced Java developer to join our expanding Information Technology team. In this role, you will help develop and design technology solutions that are scalable, relevant, and critical to our companys success. Mandatory/ Must have Skill sets: 1 to 2 years of relevant work experience & sound technical knowledge in the following: Java, Spring framework, JUnit, AWS, Hibernate, SpringBoot, Microservices, OOPs concept Significant experience working with SQL Good analytical & problem solving skill Familiarity with Generative AI tools like GitHub Copilot, CodeWhisperer, or Curser to assist in faster and accurate code generation Good to Have: Familiarity with Github Familiarity with Agile Knowledge of prompt engineering for AI-assisted development Familiarity with Gen AI APIs (e.g., OpenAI, AWS Bedrock) to prototype or enhance backend logic, API generation, or PoCs Responsibility: Help design and implement scalable, lasting technology solutions Review current systems, suggesting updates as needed Resolve reported issues and reply to queries in a timely manner Develop and utilize technical change documentation Strive to deploy all products and updates on time Help improve code quality by implementing recommended best practices Remain up to date on all current best practices, trends, and industry developments Maintain a high standard of work quality and encourage others to do the same Help junior team members grow and develop their skills Identify potential challenges and bottlenecks in order to address them proactively Annual Compensation would be best as per Industry standards.
