Back End Engineer

As a Backend Engineer at our fast-growing, culture-focused, venture-backed startup dedicated to re-imagining an organization's Business Intelligence environment, your role is crucial in developing highly available, reliable, and maintainable APIs and containerized BI DevOps tasks for our customers. You will deploy solutions to address common BI environment issues such as downtime, stale data, unused reports, duplicate datasets, and more. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop and maintain APIs and systems for CI/CD tasks related to BI metadata at scale. - Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements and ensure timely delivery. - Lead projects to improve BI environments, focusing on migrations, cost savings, performance optimizations, and more. - Write clean, high-quality, high-performance, maintainable code. - Utilize modern DevOps tools for continuous integration, configuration management, and monitoring. - Become an expert on metadata tracking across multiple BI platforms. **Qualifications Required:** - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field. - 5+ years of relevant work experience. - Strong proficiency in Python. - Experience with Git for version control. - AWS experience preferred for cloud infrastructure. - Ability to create and iterate products based on customer learnings and metrics. - Excellent communication skills and extreme attention to detail. - Collaborative attitude with a desire to contribute beyond primary responsibilities. In addition, previous experience at a B2B SaaS venture-backed startup and working with large BI environments would be advantageous.,
