Responsibilities

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable Go code.

Develop and implement backend services and APIs for various applications.

Manage and optimize MySQL databases, ensuring data integrity and high performance.

Deploy and manage services on AWS, including using services like EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.

Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other team members to define and ship new features.

Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire stack.

Requirements

3+ years of professional experience in backend development using Go.

Proficiency with MySQL; including schema design, query optimization, and performance tuning.

Hands-on experience with AWS services, with a strong understanding of networking (VPC, Security Groups, etc.), for deployment and infrastructure management.

Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.

Experience with version control systems, preferably Git.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Nice to Have

Experience with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB and caching solutions like Redis.

Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tools, particularly Terraform.

Proficiency in a Linux environment.

Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, with specific experience in GitHub Actions.

Experience with testing in Go, including unit and integration testing with SQL databases.
