Back End Developer

The role of a Backend Developer in Perth involves working with a team of developers to create algorithms and develop end-user functionality. Your primary responsibilities will include producing clean, efficient, safe, and quality code based on specifications, troubleshooting and debugging systems in different environments, and collaborating within an agile environment to meet project requirements. You will also be expected to contribute to continuous improvement through agile processes and create technical documentation that is concise and informative. To be successful in this role, you should possess a BSc in Computer Science, BEng in Software Engineering, or similar qualifications, along with at least 5 years of proven experience as a Software Developer or in a similar role. Familiarity with Agile development methodologies is essential, as well as hands-on experience with technologies such as C# .NET Core, ASP.NET, Entity Framework, Web API, SQL Server, unit testing frameworks, Docker, Kubernetes, and Linux systems. Additionally, strong communication skills, the ability to interact with customers, and experience in managing offshore teams are important assets for this position.
