Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and RESTful APIs using Spring Boot
• Design and optimize database schemas and queries in MySQL
• Integrate backend services with frontend and third-party systems
• Work with AWS services (e.g., S3) for storage and deployment needs
• Containerize and run applications using Docker
• Ensure application performance, security, and scalability
• Test, debug, and document your code
• Collaborate with the team to refine features and technical designs

Requirements:

• Comprehensive knowledge of Java and Spring Boot
• Understanding of REST API design principles
• Experience with MySQL and database modeling
• Familiarity with tools like Postman for API testing
• Comfortable using AI coding tools like Cursor and Claude
• Exposure to AWS and Docker
• Good problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn
• Ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Experience with Git/GitHub for version control

Bonus Points for:

• Knowledge of deployment pipelines and cloud infrastructure
• Familiarity with microservices architecture
• Basic understanding of frontend technologies like React for integration
