Job Title: Home Care Nurse – Baby Care

Location: Bangalore

Employment Type: Full-time / Shift

Working Hours: 24 hrs / 10 hrs

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate, experienced, and qualified Home Care Nurse to provide specialized care for infants and babies in a home setting. The ideal candidate should have a background in pediatric or neonatal nursing, along with a passion for nurturing and supporting early childhood development in a safe and hygienic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide daily health monitoring and nursing care for the baby (feeding, bathing, massaging, diapering, making the bed, and understanding the baby’s routine).
• Monitor vital signs (temperature) and track developmental milestones.
• Administer medication and manage medical needs under pediatric supervision.
• Administer medicines through IV/IM as per pediatrician’s advice.
• Maintain hygiene, safety, and comfort of the baby at all times.
• Prepare and sterilize feeding bottles and baby care equipment.
• Support breastfeeding or formula feeding as per parental/doctor’s instructions.
• Keep detailed records of the baby’s health, feeding, sleeping, and behavior patterns.
• Educate and support parents on infant care and health practices.
• Coordinate with pediatricians and follow medical guidance when required.
• Ensure emotional and social stimulation through age-appropriate activities.
• Accompany parents for the baby’s regular hospital visits.

Requirements:

• Qualifications: Diploma or Degree in Nursing (GNM / B.Sc Nursing / ANM or equivalent)
• Licensure: Registered Nurse (RN)
• Certifications: Additional certification in Pediatric Care preferred
• Experience: Previous experience in infant or pediatric care is an advantage.

Skills:

• Strong knowledge of infant care and hygiene
• Excellent observational and communication skills
• Patience, empathy, and professionalism
• Ability to work independently and maintain discretion.

Preferred:

• Experience in home care settings
• Experience with premature or medically complex infants
• Multilingual abilities (if applicable to the family’s language)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
