Job Purpose/ Summary Job Title: BA_Taxation_Direct Tax_SSC Job Description As an Officer in the Direct Tax department, your role involves managing and overseeing the organization's tax compliance, tax planning, and other tax-related matters. You are expected to possess a deep understanding of direct taxation and be proficient in utilizing SAP or other IT-related applications in Finance & Accounts. Additionally, you should have a strong grasp of compliance, applicable rules & laws, and be skilled in Excel. Principal Accountabilities - Ensuring timely deduction of TDS - Ensuring deposited TDS with Govt treasury before due dates - Reconciliation of 26AS in a timely manner and reflecting the impact in the books - Ensuring appropriate TDS rates for Non-operative PAN & specified persons - Preparation of basic working for responding to any notices Key Interactions Your role involves interactions with Financial Auditing, Mid Management, Junior Management, Cross-Functional Collaboration, and Client Relations. Experience You should have a minimum of 4 years of experience in the relevant field.
