Key Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of Azure cloud migrations, ensuring network infrastructure is configured and optimized.
• Troubleshoot connectivity issues across hybrid and cloud environments, identify root causes, and implement timely resolutions.
• Implement and manage firewall rules, network security policies, and access controls in line with organizational standards.
• Monitor and optimize network performance, resolving latency, throughput, and availability issues.
• Apply network security best practices, including segmentation, access control, firewall policies, and integration with Azure-native security tools.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, security, and application teams for seamless network integration.
• Evaluate and adopt emerging Azure networking features to enhance cloud performance, scalability, and security.
• Maintain network documentation, including topology diagrams, configuration records, and migration-specific network plans.
• Provide technical support and knowledge sharing to peers and stakeholders involved in Azure migration.
  

Required Skills & Expertise

• Strong experience in network engineering and administration, with focus on Azure networking solutions.
• Deep knowledge of Azure networking services: VNets, Subnets, Virtual Network Gateways, ExpressRoute, VPN, Azure Firewall, and Azure Load Balancer.
• Proficiency in network troubleshooting, performance optimization, and packet analysis tools.
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools, such as Azure Network Watcher, Azure Monitor, or third-party solutions.
• Strong understanding of network security concepts, including firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPN encryption, and segmentation.
• Solid understanding of hybrid cloud connectivity (Azure ExpressRoute, VPN).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Relevant certifications like Azure Networking or CCNP are preferred.
