Azure .NET Architect

Responsibilities:

1. Solution Design & Architecture

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and secure enterprise applications using

  Azure PaaS services

  and the .NET ecosystem.
• Architect cloud-native and hybrid applications leveraging

  Azure App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, and microservices

  .
• Ensure best practices in application architecture, cloud adoption, and DevOps automation.

2. Technical Leadership & Development

• Guide development teams in implementing high-performance .NET applications using

  ASP.NET Core, C#, and modern frameworks

  .
• Define best practices for API design, authentication, and integration with third-party services.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and ensure architectural improvements for scalability and maintainability.

3. Integration & Security

• Design and implement

  secure, scalable, and resilient

  cloud applications with Azure Active Directory, role-based access control (RBAC), and data security best practices.
• Optimize Azure cloud infrastructure, ensuring cost efficiency and high availability.
• Ensure compliance with security standards, data governance, and cloud security best practices.

4. Performance Optimization & Monitoring

• Establish monitoring and logging frameworks using

  Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Application Insights

  .
• Optimize application performance, latency, and cloud resource utilization.

5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Engagement

• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) during architectural reviews and technical discussions.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, developers, and DevOps engineers, to align technical solutions with business objectives.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Technical Expertise:

• Proven expertise in

  Azure PaaS services

  like

  Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL Database, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), and API Management

  .
• Strong experience with

  .NET Core, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, C#, and microservices architecture

  .
• Proficiency in

  Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC) using ARM/Bicep/Terraform

  .
• Hands-on experience with

  containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)

  .
• Strong knowledge of

  event-driven architecture

  using Azure Service Bus, Event Grid, or Event Hubs.

Security & Compliance:

• Expertise in designing

  secure applications

  using Azure AD, OAuth, OpenID Connect, and multi-factor authentication (MFA).
• Strong understanding of

  data encryption, compliance (GDPR, HIPAA), and security best practices

  .

Programming & Development Skills:

• Proficiency in

  C#, .NET Core, and frontend frameworks (Angular/React is a plus)

  .
• Experience with

  SQL Server, NoSQL databases (Cosmos DB), and caching strategies

  .
• Familiarity with

  Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and API development best practices

  .
