Job Summary

Azure DevOps Architect

Key Responsibilities

CI/CD Pipeline Development

• Architect, design, and implement robust CI/CD pipelines for build, test, and deployment using

  Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions

  , or similar tools.
• Standardize pipeline templates and best practices across teams to ensure consistency and quality.

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Design and maintain

  Infrastructure as Code

   using

  Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates

  .
• Ensure repeatable, version-controlled, and auditable provisioning of Azure resources.

Containerization & Orchestration

• Design and manage containerized solutions using

  Docker

   and

  Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS)

  .
• Create and maintain

  Helm charts

   and implement

  GitOps

  -based deployment workflows.

Monitoring & Observability

• Integrate

  Azure Monitor, Log Analytics

  , and alerting into CI/CD and runtime environments.
• Implement logging, metrics, and dashboards to enable proactive monitoring and rapid issue resolution.

Security & Compliance

• Enforce

  secure-by-default

   cloud and pipeline configurations.
• Manage secrets and certificates using

  Azure Key Vault

  .
• Apply governance controls using

  Azure Policy

   and support regulatory and compliance audits.

Automation & Lifecycle Management

• Automate environment provisioning, scaling, patching, and decommissioning.
• Design deployment strategies including blue-green, canary releases, and rollback mechanisms.

Collaboration & Governance

• Partner with solution architects, developers, and operations teams to drive DevOps best practices.
• Participate in sprint planning, design reviews, and technical demos.
• Mentor engineers and promote a DevOps and automation-first culture.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience with

  Microsoft Azure services

  , including

  AKS, ACR, Azure Key Vault, Application Gateway, and Azure Active Directory

  .
• Expertise in

  CI/CD tools

   such as

  Azure DevOps

   and

  GitHub Actions

  .
• Advanced proficiency in

  Infrastructure as Code

   (Terraform, Bicep, ARM templates).
• Deep knowledge of

  Kubernetes, Docker, Helm

  , and container-based architectures.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as

  Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and Grafana

  .
• Strong understanding of

  cloud security best practices

   and compliance frameworks.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using

  PowerShell, Bash, and/or Python

  .

Preferred Qualifications

• Azure certifications (e.g.,

  Azure DevOps Engineer Expert

  ,

  Azure Solutions Architect Expert

  ).
• Experience designing enterprise-scale Azure landing zones.
• Familiarity with multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
