Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain
ETL/ELT pipelines
using
Azure Data Factory
,
Databricks
, and related Azure services.
Integrate data from various sources (SQL, APIs, Blob Storage, Data Lake, etc.) into a centralized data warehouse or data lake.
Build and manage
data ingestion
,
transformation
, and
orchestration workflows
.
Optimize ADF pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
Collaborate with business and analytics teams to understand data requirements and deliver end-to-end solutions.
Implement and manage
data quality
,
monitoring
, and
error-handling frameworks
.
Work closely with
Azure Synapse
,
SQL Database
,
Power BI
, and
Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS)
for analytical reporting and data visualization.
Ensure
data governance
,
security
, and
compliance
standards are maintained.

Required Skills and Experience

6 to 10 years
of total IT experience with a strong focus on
Azure Data Platform
.
3+ years
of hands-on experience with
Azure Data Factory (ADF)
pipelines, data flows, triggers, and integration runtimes.
Strong experience with
Azure Synapse
,
Azure SQL Database
, and
Data Lake Storage Gen2
.
Good understanding of
ETL/ELT
design principles and data integration best practices.
Proficiency in
SQL
and
stored procedures
for data extraction and transformation.
Experience with
Azure Databricks
or
PySpark
is a plus.
Familiarity with
CI/CD
using
Azure DevOps
.
Knowledge of
JSON
,
REST APIs
, and
parameterization
in ADF.
Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
