Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and optimize scalable data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and PySpark
Build and maintain robust ETL/ELT workflows across structured and semi-structured data sources
Write efficient, production-grade SQL queries for data transformation, validation, and reporting
Collaborate with data architects and analysts to ensure data integrity, performance, and security
Implement CI/CD pipelines for data workflows using Azure DevOps or GitHub Actions
Monitor and troubleshoot data pipeline performance and failures in real-time
Document technical designs, data flows, and operational procedures

Required Skills & Qualifications

4+ years of experience in data engineering, with strong hands-on exposure to Azure ecosystem
Proficiency in PySpark for distributed data processing and transformation
Advanced SQL skills for complex joins, aggregations, and performance tuning
Deep understanding of Azure Data Factory, including pipeline orchestration, triggers, and linked services
Experience with Azure Synapse, Data Lake Storage, and Databricks is a plus
Familiarity with Git, CI/CD, and agile development practices
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
