Description
You will be working as an Azure Data Engineer with 3 to 8 years of experience. Your role will involve collaborating with various projects to create data solutions for a variety of business use cases. You will drive innovation within Data Engineering and play a key role in shaping the technology for the future of data and analytics. Your key responsibilities will include: - Playing a critical role in the design and development of highly complex data projects - Identifying gaps and weaknesses in the data stack and guiding advancements for the team - Providing technical expertise to teams in all phases of work, including analysis, design, development, and implementation of cutting-edge solutions - Negotiating and influencing changes outside of the team to continuously shape and improve the data environment - Understanding UI needs, backend design, and data design to create backend code - Running diagnostic tests, repairing defects, and providing technical support - Documenting Node.js processes, including database schemas, and preparing reports - Designing and implementing APIs and integrating with third-party APIs as required - Developing and maintaining databases using technologies such as MongoDB or MySQL - Creating reusable code and libraries for future use - Optimizing applications for maximum speed and scalability - Troubleshooting and debugging issues, and providing timely resolutions Qualifications required for this role include: - Excellent knowledge and experience in Azure Data Services (like ADF, etc.) along with Databricks - Good knowledge and expertise in SQL, Python, PySpark - Good understanding of ETL & Data warehousing concepts - Excellent written & spoken communication skills, with the ability to interact with customers and relevant stakeholders - Ability to understand provided requirements and architecture and translate them into implementation following best practices - Self-driven with an excellent learning attitude - Knowledge and exposure to Databricks - Experience in Snowflake Datawarehouse Good to have skills include: - Experience & conceptual knowledge of Bigdata technologies like Hadoop, HDFS, Hive, Spark - Experience with ETL tools like Matillion, DBT, etc. - Exposure to other cloud platforms Please note that this is a brief summary of the job description.
