Azure Data Engineer

Role Overview: At Capgemini Engineering, you will be part of a global team of engineers, scientists, and architects focused on providing unique R&D and engineering services across all industries. You will have the opportunity to design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse, implementing best practices for performance tuning, query optimization, and data modeling in Snowflake. Additionally, you will manage integrations with various data sources to ensure secure and scalable data flow. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and optimize data pipelines and ETL processes on Snowflake Cloud Data Warehouse. - Implement best practices for performance tuning, query optimization, and data modeling in Snowflake. - Manage integrations with various data sources to ensure secure, scalable data flow. - Work in the area of Software Engineering, applying scientific methods to analyze and solve software engineering problems. - Develop and apply software engineering practice and knowledge in research, design, development, and maintenance. - Exercise original thought and judgment while supervising the technical and administrative work of other software engineers. - Build skills and expertise in software engineering discipline to meet standard software engineer skills expectations. - Collaborate and act as a team player with other software engineers and stakeholders. Qualifications Required: - Experience with SQL, cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP), and BI/reporting tools is a must. - Ability to work with stakeholders to translate business requirements into efficient Snowflake solutions. - Ensure data governance, quality, and compliance within the Snowflake environment.
