Title: Azure Data Architect

Responsibilites:

• Architect

  scalable, secure, and high-performance data solutions

  for fraud and risk analytics.
• Design

  end-to-end Azure data architectures

  , covering ingestion, transformation, storage, governance, lineage, and consumption layers.
• Build and optimize

  ETL/ELT pipelines

  using

  Spark, PySpark, and Azure Databricks

  .
• Handle

  large-scale structured and semi-structured datasets

  , ensuring data quality and integrity.
• Collaborate with

  data science teams

  to prepare training datasets, support feature engineering, and enable ML model operationalization.
• Implement

  cloud-native data solutions on Microsoft Azure

  , using Azure Data Lake (ADLS Gen2), Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Databricks, Azure Event Hubs, Azure Functions, Azure Key Vault.
• Define and enforce

  data governance practices

  including metadata management, lineage, data quality rules, and security controls.
• Drive

  technology evaluations, POCs

  , and contribute to the

  data platform roadmap

  .
• Lead

  deployments across environments

  (Dev/Test/Prod) ensuring stable and low-risk releases.
• Provide

  technical leadership

  , mentor data engineers, and maintain architectural standards across teams.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in

  Azure Data Architecture and Data Engineering

• Hands-on expertise with

  Azure Databricks, ADLS Gen2, Synapse Analytics

• Strong proficiency in

  Spark / PySpark

• Experience building

  ETL/ELT pipelines

  at scale
• Solid understanding of

  structured & semi-structured data

  (Delta, Parquet, JSON)
• Experience with

  data governance, security, and access control (RBAC)

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in

  Banking Domain

• Exposure to

  streaming data architectures

  (Event Hubs)
• Experience supporting

  ML/AI workloads

  from a data platform perspective
• CI/CD exposure for data platforms
