Job Description

Azure Data Architect

Key Responsibilities

Design and implement scalable data architecture on Microsoft Azure.
Lead the development of data pipelines using
Azure Data Factory, Data Lake, Synapse Analytics, and Databricks
.
Define data models and data integration strategies.
Work with stakeholders to gather data requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
Ensure data governance, security, and compliance in cloud solutions.
Optimize data storage and performance using Azure best practices.
Collaborate with development teams, business analysts, and data scientists.

Required Skills

Strong experience with
Azure Data Services
:

Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2)
Azure Synapse Analytics
Azure Data Factory (ADF)
Azure Databricks
Azure SQL / SQL DW

Strong SQL and data modeling skills (star/snowflake schema).
Hands-on experience in
data ingestion, ETL/ELT
, and orchestration.
Good understanding of
DevOps practices
in data projects (CI/CD, Git, etc.).
Experience with
Power BI
or other BI tools is a plus.
