Role Overview:

Azure Cloud Modernization and Transformation Architect

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess clients' current IT infrastructure, applications, and workloads to identify modernization opportunities.
• Develop tailored Azure migration strategies and transformation roadmaps aligned with business goals.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and cost-effective Azure solutions across IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS offerings.
• Lead end-to-end cloud migration and modernization projects, ensuring best practices and compliance standards are met.
• Provide architectural guidance and hands-on support across infrastructure, application, and data modernization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (DevOps, Security, Development, etc.) to ensure cohesive solution delivery.
• Stay current with Azure innovations and trends; evaluate and recommend emerging technologies where relevant.
• Deliver architecture documentation including HLDs, LLDs, security blueprints, and operational models.
• Conduct workshops and training sessions to enable client teams in Azure tools and cloud-native best practices.
• Provide post-deployment support, performance tuning, and continuous optimization recommendations.
  

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in Azure cloud architecture, design, and implementation.
• Strong understanding of cloud governance, security, identity, and networking in Azure.
• Expertise in Azure services including but not limited to: Azure Virtual Machines, Azure App Services, Azure SQL, Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure DevOps, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, and Azure Monitor.
• Experience with cloud migration tools (e.g., Azure Migrate, ASR) and methodologies.
• Familiarity with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) tools like ARM Templates, Bicep, or Terraform.
• Solid understanding of enterprise IT systems, infrastructure, and software development life cycles.
• Excellent communication, client-facing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant Azure certifications (e.g.,
