Azure Cloud L3 Administrator / Engineer Role Overview The Azure Cloud L3 Administrator is responsible for advanced management, troubleshooting, and optimization of enterprise cloud environments hosted on Microsoft Azure This includes infrastructure services, networking, security, automation, and hybrid integrations The role requires deep expertise in Azure technologies, strong problemsolving skills, and the ability to resolve complex issues independently while supporting enterprisescale deployments Provide L3 support for escalated incidents across Azure infrastructure and services Manage and maintain Azure IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS environments including VMs, storage, networking, and databases Administer and optimize Azure Active Directory, RBAC, Conditional Access, and Identity Protection Implement and manage Azure networking (VNets, NSGs, VPNs, ExpressRoute, Load Balancers) Perform patching, upgrades, and configuration management across Azure resources Conduct performance tuning, capacity planning, and cost optimization for cloud workloads Automate cloud operations using PowerShell, ARM templates, Terraform, or Bicep Implement backup, disaster recovery, and highavailability solutions in Azure Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to ensure seamless cloud operations Lead root cause analysis for critical incidents and document resolutions Maintain knowledge base and documentation for configurations, processes, and troubleshooting guides Required Skills & Experience 712 years of experience in cloud administration with strong L3 expertise Handson experience with Microsoft Azure services (VMs, Storage, Networking, Azure AD, App Services) Strong knowledge of Azure governance, policies, and compliance frameworks Expertise in identity and access management within Azure AD Experience with hybrid cloud setups (Azure + onpremises integration) Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps Proficiency in automation and scripting (PowerShell, Terraform, ARM templates) Solid understanding of cloud security, firewalls, and monitoring tools (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, Sentinel) Ability to lead critical incident resolution and mentor junior administrators Preferred Qualifications Certifications Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Azure Security Engineer Associate Experience with Kubernetes (AKS) and containerized workloads Exposure to multicloud environments (AWS, GCP) for hybrid strategies Knowledge of ITIL processes for incident, problem, and change management Your future duties and responsibilities Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role Together, as owners, lets turn meaningful insights into action Life at CGI is rooted in ownership, teamwork, respect and belonging Here, youll reach your full potential because You are invited to be an owner from day 1 as we work together to bring our Dream to life Thats why we call ourselves CGI Partners rather than employees We benefit from our collective success and actively shape our companys strategy and direction Your work creates value Youll develop innovative solutions and build relationships with teammates and clients while accessing global capabilities to scale your ideas, embrace new opportunities, and benefit from expansive industry and technology expertise Youll shape your career by joining a company built to grow and last Youll be supported by leaders who care about your health and well-being and provide you with opportunities to deepen your skills and broaden your horizons Come join our teamone of the largest IT and business consulting services firms in the world
