Job Description

Job Title : Azure Cloud Engineer Location : Pune, Bangalore Experience Level : 5 7 Yrs Job Summary We are seeking a seasoned Azure Cloud Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Azure Active Directory (Azure AD) , Azure Foundation Services , and Cloud FinOps . The ideal candidate will be responsible for building secure Azure foundations, managing identity and access, and ensuring financial optimization of cloud resources. Key Responsibilities Azure AD & Identity Governance: Design, implement, and manage Azure AD , including user and group management, conditional access, and multi-factor authentication (MFA). Manage Hybrid Identity with Azure AD Connect , Seamless SSO , and Password Hash Sync . Configure and maintain Privileged Identity Management (PIM) , Access Reviews , SSPR , and Identity Protection . Support SSO integrations using SAML , OAuth2 , and OpenID Connect . Azure Foundation Services: Build and configure Landing Zones , Management Groups , Subscription hierarchy , and Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) . Implement Azure Policy , Blueprints , Resource Locks , and Tagging Standards for governance. Set up core services: VNETs , NSGs , Diagnostics , Monitoring (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics) , Key Vault , and Storage Accounts . Enable logging, monitoring, and alerts to ensure platform health and security visibility. FinOps & Cost Optimization: Monitor and analyze Azure usage and costs using Azure Cost Management + Billing , Azure Advisor , and budgets/alerts . Implement tagging and cost allocation strategies across departments and workloads. Identify and implement cost optimization strategies: Reserved Instances , Savings Plans , rightsizing , auto-shutdown , and resource cleanup . Support finance and engineering teams with showback/chargeback reports , budget tracking, and forecasting. Required Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field. 5–8 years of overall IT experience, with 3+ years in Azure cloud environment. Strong experience with: Azure AD configuration and IAM practices Azure Landing Zone setup and governance configuration Cost monitoring and optimization in Azure using native and third-party tools
