Azure Cloud Engineer

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure Cloud Engineer to drive theimplementation of cloud-based solutions in Microsoft Azure. This role requires deep expertise in cloud technologies, with a focus on Azure, to help shape the strategic direction of our cloud infrastructure and contribute to the successful execution of cloud transformation projects. Key Responsibilities: Cloud Security: Ensure the implementation of security best practices across all cloud-based architectures. Define policies, procedures, and practices for managing secure cloud environments in compliance with industry standards (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR). Continuous Improvement: Stay current with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices related to Azure and cloud computing. Share knowledge across teams to improve overall cloud competency. Key Requirements: Education & Experience: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). Minimum of 5 years of experience in designing, implementing, and managing cloud-based solutions. At least 3 years of experience specifically with Microsoft Azure cloud services. Technical Skills: Proficiency in Azure services (e.g., Azure Compute, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Security). Knowledge of automation and scripting with Python. Experience with cloud migration strategies, hybrid cloud environments, and multi-cloud setups. Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform, ARM Templates, or Azure Resource Manager. Expertise in cloud security best practices, identity management (Azure AD), and security compliance frameworks. Familiarity with DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps. Solid understanding of networking concepts, load balancing, and distributed systems in the cloud. Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to collaborate and lead cross-functional teams.
