Role: Azure Cloud and DevOps Architect Grade: 12B Experience: 8 to 12 Years Location: Bangalore Work Hours: Working for US Customer, flexible work hours About the Role: We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Azure and DevOps Architect to lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure and DevOps practices. As an Azure and DevOps Architect, you will be responsible for driving the adoption of DevOps principles and tools, ensuring efficient and reliable delivery of our software products. Responsibilities: Cloud Architecture: Design and implement robust and scalable cloud architectures on Azure. Define and enforce cloud governance standards and best practices. Optimize cloud infrastructure for performance, cost-efficiency, and security. Migrate existing applications to the cloud, leveraging Azure services effectively. DevOps Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive DevOps strategy aligned with business objectives. Promote a DevOps culture and foster collaboration between development and operations teams. Identify opportunities for automation and continuous improvement. Implement CI/CD pipelines and automation tools to streamline software delivery. Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Use IaC tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager to manage infrastructure. Define and maintain configuration management scripts. Ensure consistency and reproducibility of infrastructure deployments. Security and Compliance: Implement security best practices and controls to protect cloud resources. Stay up-to-date with security threats and vulnerabilities. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations related to HealthCare Industry. Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Establish effective monitoring and alerting systems. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues. Analyze system performance and identify optimization opportunities. Team Leadership and Collaboration: Mentor and guide team members on DevOps practices and tools. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Share knowledge and best practices within the organization. In-depth knowledge of DevOps principles and practices Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, Jenkins, GitHub) Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (Terraform, ARM Templates) Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash) Understanding of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Experience with technical writing tools (e.g. Confluence) and diagramming tools (e.g. Visio, draw.io) Preferred Skills: Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef) Working knowledge of Cloud Apps Qualifications: Proven experience: Overall 8-12 years of experience with at least 5 years of experience as a Cloud Architect. Certifications: Azure certifications preferred (Azure Solution Architect, Azure DevOps Engineer) Technical writing skills: Strong ability to write clear, concise, and informative technical documentation. Technical understanding: Familiarity with Digital Engineering, Digital Infrastructure and Cloud Technologies Communication skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills.
