Description
You are a highly skilled AWS DevOps Engineer / Solution Architect with a strong background in designing and implementing data-driven and API-based solutions. Your expertise lies in AWS architecture, and you have a passion for creating scalable, secure, and high-performance systems while aligning technology solutions with business goals. Your key responsibilities include designing and architecting scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based solutions on AWS for data and API-related projects. You will implement infrastructure automation using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AWS CDK. Architect and implement RESTful APIs, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security using AWS API Gateway, Lambda, and related services. Design and optimize data pipelines, data lakes, and storage solutions using AWS services like S3, Redshift, RDS, and DynamoDB. Additionally, you will build, manage, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to automate deployments, testing, and infrastructure provisioning using tools such as Jenkins, CodePipeline, etc. You should ensure robust monitoring, logging, and alerting mechanisms are in place using tools like CloudWatch, Prometheus, and Grafana. Collaboration with cross-functional teams to implement DevOps best practices and deliver innovative cloud solutions is essential. Implementing AWS security best practices, including IAM, encryption, VPC, and security monitoring, to ensure solutions meet security and compliance standards, is also a key responsibility. Continuously optimizing AWS environments for performance, scalability, and cost-effectiveness is crucial. To qualify for this role, you should have at least 8 years of experience in AWS cloud architecture with a focus on data and API solutions. Expertise in AWS core services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, API Gateway, RDS, DynamoDB, Redshift, and CloudFormation is required. Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform, AWS CDK, or CloudFormation is necessary. Proficiency in API design and development, particularly RESTful APIs and serverless architectures, is expected. A strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, version control (Git), and automation tools is essential. Knowledge of networking, security best practices, and the AWS Well-Architected Framework is preferred. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes or AWS ECS/EKS is beneficial. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment are required. AWS Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate/Professional) or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer are highly preferred.,
