Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement AWS infrastructure architecture for Microsoft workloads including Windows Server, Active Directory, .NET, and SQL Server environments.
• Manage and optimize core AWS services such as EC2, EBS, ALB, Auto Scaling, RDS, S3, IAM, VPC, Route 53, and SSM for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Build secure and compliant cloud environments aligned with AWS Well-Architected Framework and enterprise governance practices.
• Utilize AWS Database Migration Service (DMS), Glue/EMR, and Transfer Family for data movement and ETL automation across legacy and modern platforms.
• Develop and enforce backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity strategies using AWS tools and services.
• Migrate on-premises Windows and SQL Server workloads to AWS Cloud using AWS Application Migration Service and AWS Server Migration Service.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design hybrid solutions integrating AWS and Microsoft technologies (e.g., PowerShell, Azure AD Connect, Windows Licensing).
• Configure and monitor environments with CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and AWS Config, ensuring high availability and compliance tracking.
• Provide technical leadership on modernization initiatives involving .NET transformation, serverless adoption, and application containerization using AWS ECS/EKS.
• Document architecture patterns, configurations, and operational procedures for long-term maintainability and audit readiness.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Proven experience running and managing Microsoft workloads on AWS with hands-on expertise across AWS compute, storage, networking, and database services.
• Strong understanding of Windows infrastructure, Active Directory, SQL Server optimization, and licensing management practices.
• Proficiency in PowerShell, Terraform, or CloudFormation for automation and infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with AWS security and identity management including IAM, KMS, and Compliance frameworks such as ISO, SOC, and HIPAA.
• Ability to design robust hybrid and multi-cloud solutions ensuring interoperability and migration efficiency.
• AWS Certified Solutions Architect (Associate or Professional) preferred.
