AWS Lead

Leadership & Mentoring :

Lead a team of developers, providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior and mid-level engineers.

Foster a collaborative and high-performance engineering culture by setting technical standards and best practices.

Oversee the architectural design and implementation of complex AWS-based systems, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability.

Cloud Infrastructure & Architecture :

Design and implement cloud-native applications using AWS services, with a strong focus on Amazon S3 for storage and data management.

Lead the adoption and integration of AWS tools and services to enhance the overall cloud architecture.

Design highly available, fault-tolerant, and cost-effective AWS solutions.

AWS S3 Expertise :

Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure data storage solutions using Amazon S3 .

Utilize S3 lifecycle policies, versioning, replication, and other AWS features to ensure efficient data management and storage optimization.

Ensure the security of data in transit and at rest, implementing appropriate encryption and access control strategies using AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) and other security services.

Technical Delivery & Execution :

Drive the development and deployment of AWS-based applications, ensuring they meet business requirements and are delivered on time.

Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate deployments, monitor system health, and improve performance.

Troubleshoot complex technical issues related to AWS infrastructure, data management, and integration with third-party services.

Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication :

Work closely with product managers, business analysts, and other stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Provide technical documentation and regular updates to leadership regarding the progress of projects and technical initiatives.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation :

Stay up-to-date with emerging AWS services and technologies, ensuring the team leverages the most effective tools and solutions.

Advocate for continuous improvement in code quality, system reliability, and performance across the team.
Experience Required:

8+ years of experience in cloud architecture, including significant hands-on experience with AWS services & AWS Lambda Serverless Architect.

Proven expertise in designing and managing hybrid cloud solutions & AWS Lambda Serverless architecture

Experience leading cloud migration projects and optimizing infrastructure for cost and performance.

Proficiency in implementing security best practices, compliance, and governance in cloud environments.
Skills:

Expertise in AWS cloud services (EC2, S3, VPC, Lambda, RDS) and AWS Lambda and serverless architecture.

Strong knowledge of one Programming languages (e.g., Python, Node.js, or Java)

Advanced knowledge of core AWS services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.

Expertise in networking, security, and storage in both public and private cloud environments.

Strong experience with automation tools like Jenkins, AWS CLI, CloudFormation, Terraform, and Kubernetes.

Proficiency in containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools such as ECS or EKS.

Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor teams and collaborate across departments.

AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified DevOps Engineer certification is preferred.

Requirements

Experience Required:

8+ years in cloud architecture with strong hands-on AWS experience

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and mentor development teams

Architect scalable, secure AWS solutions using Lambda and serverless architecture

Design hybrid cloud environments integrating public and private cloud

Implement and manage Amazon S3 storage solutions

Drive automation using DevOps tools (Jenkins, CloudFormation, Terraform)

Collaborate with stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs

Ensure best practices in cloud security, performance, and reliability

Must-Have Skills:

Expertise in AWS (Lambda, S3, EC2, VPC, IAM, RDS, CloudWatch)

Strong in at least one language: Python, Node.js, or Java

Hands-on with CI/CD, automation, and infrastructure as code

Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (ECS/EKS)

Strong leadership, communication, and documentation skills

Preferred:

AWS Certified Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer

Experience with cloud migrations and hybrid architectures
