Job Description

We are looking for a versatile AWS Cloud Support Engineer to manage, troubleshoot, and optimize our AWS cloud infrastructure. This role combines responsibilities from L1, L2, and L3 support, requiring a broad understanding of AWS services, problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate across teams. You will handle tasks ranging from monitoring and basic issue resolution to designing scalable architectures and leading incident management. The role offers growth opportunities for candidates eager to learn and contribute at any experience level. Key Responsibilities Monitor and maintain AWS infrastructure to ensure uptime, performance, and security. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with AWS services like EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, EBS, LBS and Cloudflare. Automate routine tasks using scripts or Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Implement and enforce security best practices, including access controls, encryption, and compliance monitoring. Optimize cloud resources to improve cost efficiency and system performance. Collaborate with stakeholders to design, deploy, and support scalable cloud solutions. Respond to and manage incidents, performing root cause analysis and creating post-mortem reports. Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members as needed. Required Skills Strong understanding of core AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, IAM, VPC, EBS, LBS). Knowledge of Linux systems and AWS CLI and SDK for resource management. Knowledge of EKS, ECS, or Fargate, git, CI/CD pipelines. Jenkins, and Docker. Backup and Disaster Recovery. Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., AWS CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Cloudflare) and basic troubleshooting. Familiarity with scripting languages like Python, Bash, or AWS CLI for automation. Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or CloudFormation. Solid understanding of networking concepts (e.g., DNS, VPN, WAF, routing, Cloudflare). AWS certification (Associate or Professional level) is a plus. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. Additional Requirements Ability to work in a 24/7 support environment and handle on-call responsibilities. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new AWS tools and technologies. Experience in advanced troubleshooting and designing scalable cloud architectures is a bonus.
