AWS Engineer

As an AWS Engineer based in Pune on a Contract to Hire basis, you will be responsible for Test Environment Management. You should have 4-6 years of experience in this field and possess a strong understanding of setting up connectivity, including firewall implementation. Your role will involve managing deployments in Test environments and ensuring their alignment with the Production Code base. A key aspect of your responsibilities will be identifying Environment Setup requirements from design documents and technical discussions. It is essential to have a basic knowledge of Cloud environment architecture, particularly for AWS and OCI environments. Effective communication skills are crucial for exchanging ideas and information with relevant stakeholders. In addition to the must-have skills, it would be beneficial to have knowledge of UNIX, basic Java, and tools such as HP ALM and Jira. Familiarity with Order provisioning in the Telecom Domain and CR and defect management in Test environments would also be advantageous. Your primary skills should include Test Environment Management, Firewall/network connectivity Setup, understanding the process for Production changes retrofit in Test environments, and basic knowledge of AWS and OCI architecture. Secondary skills should encompass UNIX, basic Java, and proficiency in tools like HP ALM and Jira. Your role will involve preparing documents, reports, and maintaining them regularly. This includes creating Daily status Reports for projects and presenting them to various forums, such as Project stakeholders, Service stakeholders, and Business Owners. You will also be responsible for understanding the Retrofit process by tracking production CRQs deployment in SIT environments and updating CMDB related to the test environment regularly. Additionally, aligning SIT environments to different projects will be part of your responsibilities.,
