Job Title: DevOps Engineer (AWS, Kubernetes, GitOps) Job Summary: We're seeking an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our team, with expertise in AWS, Kubernetes, GitOps, and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have experience with containerization, observability stacks, and automation scripting, and will be able to work in an agile team environment. Key Responsibilities: 1. L2/L3 Support: Provide support for CI/CD pipelines, deployment tools, and production environments, ensuring optimal performance and availability. 2. AWS Resource Management: Manage and maintain AWS resources, including EKS clusters, RDS, ElastiCache, and OpenSearch, to ensure seamless deployments and operational stability. 3. GitOps and CI/CD: Implement and manage GitOps-based deployments using ArgoCD, and automate build, testing, and deployment processes using GitLab pipelines. 4. Troubleshooting and Resolution: Proactively troubleshoot and resolve issues across development, QA, and production environments, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption. 5. Automation Scripting: Develop and maintain automation scripts using Shell and Python to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency. 6. Collaboration and Best Practices: Collaborate with architects and senior developers, contributing to technical design discussions and influencing architectural decisions, and implement and promote best practices for building scalable, high-performance, and maintainable microservices architectures. 7. Security and Compliance: Integrate security and compliance checks into the DevOps process, ensuring adherence to security best practices and regulatory requirements. 8. Agile/Scrum Environment: Participate actively in an Agile/Scrum development environment, including sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives, and contribute to sprint goals and deliver software increments on schedule. Required Skills: 1. AWS Expertise: Proficiency in AWS services like VPC, EC2, EKS, S3, RDS, and Terraform. 2. Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical skills, experience with debugging tools, and a systematic approach to problem-solving. 3. GitOps and CI/CD: Experience with ArgoCD, Helm, Kustomize, and GitOps-based deployments. 4. Containerization: Strong understanding of containerization using Kubernetes and Docker. 5. Observability: Experience with configuring observability stacks like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK. Nice-to-Have: 1. Strong Communication Skills: Ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 2. Creative Problem-Solving: Ability to analyze complex problems, develop creative solutions, and make informed decisions. 3.
