As an AWS Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, your responsibilities will include: - Planning, implementing, and growing the AWS cloud infrastructure. - Building, releasing, and managing the configuration of all production systems. - Developing workflows, scripts, and integrating systems with APIs. - Managing a continuous integration and deployment methodology for server-based technologies. - Working alongside architecture and engineering teams to design and implement scalable software services. - Ensuring necessary system security by using best-in-class cloud security solutions. - Staying current with new technology options and vendor products, evaluating which ones would be a good fit for the company. - Implementing continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines when necessary. - Recommending process and architecture improvements. - Troubleshooting the system and solving problems across all platforms and application domains. - Overseeing pre-production acceptance testing to ensure the high quality of the company's services and products. - Playing a key role in migrating and transforming legacy solutions to the cloud. Qualifications required for this role: - Experience designing and building web application environments on AWS, including services such as EC2, S3, ELB, RDS, etc. - Knowledge of Virtual Machines infrastructure. - Experience with DevOps tools such as Jenkins, Maven, GitHub, Ansible, Artifactory, and Sonar Qube in a cloud environment. - Experience with Linux and Windows Server system administration. - Experience with installing and configuring application servers such as WebLogic, JBoss, and Tomcat. - Ability to create and utilize AWS CloudFormation templates to automate the creation of AWS images. - Proficiency in developing scripts and scripting languages. - Being a team player capable of high performance, flexibility in a dynamic working environment, and the ability to lead. - Skill and ability to train others on technical and procedural topics.
