AWS Cloud Support Engineer

• 2-6 years of hands-on experience in AWS Cloud Administration
• Experienced in analyzing complex software systems
• Hands-on experience with EC2 instances and its performance monitoring.
• Experience with monitoring and log aggregation systems
• Monitoring of Cloud infrastructure and on-call support as required
• Strong understanding of support processes SLA, handling tickets, monitoring, processes, and metrics.
• Experience of working in teams which includes a wide variety of people and roles, including developers, software architects, QA engineers.
• Experience working with infrastructure-as-code tools (IAC) such as Terraform 9) Familiarity with scripting languages such as PowerShell or Python.
• Experience of developing and implementing software on Windows server systems
• Experience with databases or storage technologies (e.g., Microsoft SQL Server)
• In-depth understanding of AWS with Windows EC2 instances
• Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts and architecture
• Knowledge of networking protocols and security principles.
• Working hours are US daytime only

Responsibilities:

• Proactive monitoring of Windows EC2 instances with Microsoft IIS and SQL Server workloads
• Identify performance issues of Windows EC2 instances before being generated as an incident.
• Ensuring that the production environment being operational 24 x 7.
• Being structural while performing problem-solving and multitasking.
• Communicate effectively in both verbal and written to the stakeholders.
• Always be up to date on the production system changes and follow the change management process.
• Stay calm while working under pressure and provide courteous behavior.
