AWS Cloud Engineer Experience : 4-6 years Location : Chennai Interview date : 17th June (Tuesday) Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency) Must-Have**/Responsibilities Solid knowledge & Experience in 4 years of design and implementation experience in AWS cloud computing Good Experience in Amazon Kubernetes Services Good Experience in AWS Network Firewalls and WAF and AWS Security hub and AWS Shield Good Experience in AWS Cognito services Experience in infrastructure automation through DevSecOps in Cloud environments and familiarity with CI/CD tools such as AWS Code Commit, AWS CI/CD pipelines and Gitlab, Jfrog, Jenkins etc.. Architecting, building, and maintaining cost-efficient, scalable AWS cloud environments for the customer Takenaka. Define Account Structure, Network Structure, Connectivity design, Logging-Monitoring solution design etc. at enterprise level. Good understanding of AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) and AWS Single Sign-On Understanding of EC2, ECS,EKS, AWS Fargate, EFS, Lambda Functions etc. Knowledge of SNS Topics, SQS, SES, CloudWatch, CloudWatch Events and event bridge. Understanding of AWS networking concepts (for example, Amazon VPC, AWS Direct Connect, AWS VPN, transitive routing, AWS container services) AWS networking concepts (for example, Amazon VPC, AWS Direct Connect, AWS VPN, transitive routing, AWS container services) Hybrid DNS concepts (for example, Amazon Route 53 Resolver, on-premises DNS integration) AWS backup and restoration for EC2, EBS, RDS etc. and Configuring disaster recovery solutions. AWS cost and usage monitoring tools (for example, Cost Explorer, Trusted Advisor, AWS Pricing Calculator) AWS networking services and DNS (for example, Direct Connect, AWS Site-to-Site VPN, Route 53) Strong understanding of Operating systems (RH Linux and Windows) and troubleshooting methodologies. Responsible for Patching Linux/Windows servers on AWS. Architecting and Provisioning Windows and Linux environments in AWS. Good understanding of Active Directory and its concepts. Basic understanding of MS SQL and MYSQL administration. Design Scalable Foundation across multiple AWS Accounts for Deploying Datalake, IOT, Analytics based solutions. Design & Review Network, Security Architectures defined by different application Teams. Define & periodically enhance the AWS Security Guideline for the Customer. Identify Potential Areas of improvement & design the solutions according to the Customer. Prepare Discussion material for Meetings with Customer in an easily explainable way. Participate in Design review meetings with Enterprise Architects & AWS WAR review as and when required. Work with the Team to resolve any Technical Challenges related to AWS Infrastructure Implementation. Perform internal quality review checks to ensure AWS best practices and security guidelines have been met. Prepare & Review SOP documents for task handover to OPS team post deployment. Prepare various guidelines (platform usage, naming convention, security etc.) and prepare reusable materials for the team. Communicating with internal teams, internal/external stakeholders and help building applications to meet project needs. Participate in various Technical KT session for the Team as and when needed Qualifications Bachelors degree in computer science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience. Strong track record of implementing AWS services in a variety of distributed computing environments, solutioning complex AWS architecture Certifications Preferred Certifications: AWS Certifications (one or more preferred): AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate Level or Professional AWS Certified Devops Engineer
