Aws Architect / Lead (Serverless)

About the Role:

Key Responsibilities:

• Technical Leadership:

  Provide expert technical direction to development teams, ensuring best practices are followed in software architecture, development, and deployment.

• Solution Design:

  Architect, design and build scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based solutions using

  AWS

  (serverless preferred).

• Hands-On Development:

  Continue to stay hands-on with coding and technical problem-solving.

• Multi-Project Involvement:

  Manage and contribute to multiple technically challenging projects simultaneously.

• Mentoring & Coaching:

  Support, train, and guide junior engineers, fostering a collaborative and growth-oriented team culture.

• Client Engagement:

  Communicate technical concepts effectively to client stakeholders during calls and discussions.

• Ownership & Accountability:

  Take responsibility for deliverables, ensuring high-quality output without deferring responsibility.

• Collaboration:

  Work closely with cross-functional teams, including developers, designers, project managers and business analysts, to drive project success.

• Innovation:

  Stay updated with emerging technologies, particularly AI, and identify opportunities to integrate them into our solutions.

Key Requirements:

• Education:

  Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

• Experience:

  Minimum

  12 years

  of industry experience in software development and architecture.

• Technical Expertise:

• Extensive AWS expertise

  , preferably with hands-on experience in

  serverless architectures

  .
• Strong experience in

  Microservices Architecture

  .
• Strong programming experience in

  Python / Java or PHP/Drupal

  .
• Extensive experience with

  CI/CD tooling

  , code quality improvements, and peer review practices.
• Experience with AI technologies is a plus.

• Genuine interest and knowledge in software development best practices.

• Experience in Information Security standards, Web Accessibility, and Responsive Design.

• Architectural Knowledge:

  Proven experience in designing scalable and high-performance cloud-based architectures.
