AWS Architec

Key responsibilities

Lead the planning, design, and execution of end-to-end cloud migration initiatives from on-premises to AWS. Create necessary documenation for microservice migration to cloud EKS.
Perform comprehensive cloud readiness assessments of existing infrastructure and applications, identifying dependencies, compatibility issues, and challenges.
Develop detailed migration roadmaps and define appropriate migration strategies based on workload analysis and business requirements.
Leverage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform to automate deployments and standardize environments.
Design and document scalable, secure, and high-performing cloud architectures.
Collaborate with DevOps, security, network, and application development teams to ensure a smooth and seamless migration process.
Provide technical leadership, oversight, and mentorship to engineering teams throughout the project lifecycle.
Implement and monitor security controls and enforce compliance with industry standards and best practices.
Optimize cloud workloads post-migration for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Required skills and qualifications

Bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
Experience leading and executing cloud migration projects, preferably on the AWS platform.
Extensive hands-on experience with core AWS services, including but not limited to: EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and CloudWatch.
Knowledge of migration tools such as AWS Migration Hub, AWS MGN is preferred, though not mandatory.
Solid understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management.
Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (e.g., VMWare) and enterprise IT infrastructure.
Experience with containerization using Docker and Kubernetes (EKS, ECS, Fargate)
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
