No relocation candidates Skills and Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Teradata: Proficiency in Teradata utilities (BTEQ, Fast Load, Multiload, and TPT for data loading), SQL, and data warehousing concepts. Deep knowledge of Teradata architecture: Understanding Teradata's architecture, including star schema, snowflake schema, and data modeling techniques. SQL optimization skills: Ability to write and optimize complex SQL queries for performance. ETL process development: Experience in designing and implementing ETL processes using Teradata utilities. Teradata performance tuning: Knowledge of performance tuning techniques, workload management, and partitioning strategies. Data warehousing concepts: Strong understanding of data warehouse concepts and best practices. Ensuring database security and availability: Implementing measures to protect data integrity and maintain system uptime. Database modeling and design: Creating and managing database structures, including star schema and snowflake schema. Troubleshooting and resolving performance issues: Identifying and addressing performance bottlenecks in the Teradata system. Collaborating with business analysts: Understanding data requirements and translating them into technical solutions. Creating and maintaining technical documentation: Documenting database designs, ETL processes, and other technical aspects.
