AVP - Regulatory Reporting

Role Overview: As a Barclays Regulatory Reporting AVP, you will be responsible for identifying, assessing, and mitigating prudential regulatory reporting risks. You will provide oversight on regulatory reporting and maintain open communication with regulators to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal control policies. Your role will involve delivering mandatory regulatory changes and collaborating effectively with the team. Key Responsibilities: - Identify and assess prudential regulatory reporting risks related to the bank's activities, products, and services. - Develop and implement strategies to mitigate regulatory reporting risks and ensure compliance with laws and regulations. - Conduct regular compliance reviews and audits to address potential gaps or violations. - Assess the effectiveness of internal control processes and governance framework to strengthen controls and compliance. - Prepare and submit regulatory reports to authorities and provide support to other departments in report preparation. - Analyze regulatory data to provide insights into business performance and support decision-making. - Develop training programs to educate employees on regulatory requirements and compliance responsibilities. - Communicate and liaise with regulatory bodies, respond to inquiries, and represent the bank in meetings with regulators. - Manage selection, implementation, and maintenance of regulatory reporting systems and software applications.
