AVP Model/Anlys/Valid Sr Analyst

As a Model/Anlys/Valid Sr Analyst at Citigroup, your role will involve applying your in-depth disciplinary knowledge to contribute to the development of new techniques and improve processes within the Risk Analytics, Modeling, and Validation function. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing, enhancing, and validating methods of measuring and analyzing risk for all risk types, including market, credit, and operational - Demonstrating advanced knowledge of regulatory requirements such as CECL, CCAR, ICAAP, and IFRS9 - Conducting statistical analysis for risk-related projects and data modeling/validation - Applying quantitative and qualitative data analysis methods including SAS programming, SQL, and Visual Basic programming language - Preparing statistical and non-statistical data exploration, validating data, and identifying data quality issues - Analyzing and interpreting data reports, making recommendations to address business needs - Using Predictive modeling methods to present results to non-technical audiences and create formal documentation using statistical vocabulary - Generating statistical models to improve data evaluation and identify relationships and trends - Automating data extraction and preprocessing tasks, performing ad hoc data analyses, and designing complex data manipulation processes - Assessing risk when making business decisions and driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations Additionally, you should have the following qualifications: - 5-8 years of experience - Proficiency in SAS, Microsoft Office with an emphasis on MS Excel - Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills - Self-motivated and detail-oriented - Project management and organizational skills with the capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Education: - Master's/University degree Please note that Citi is an equal opportunity and affirmative action employer, providing career opportunities to all qualified and interested applicants.
