AVP, Business and Customer Analytics

The AVP, Business and Customer Analytics(L10) at Synchrony plays a crucial role in delivering high-impact projects by collaborating with various analytics teams to solve key business problems using data-driven solutions. As a part of the India Analytics Hub, you will work on projects that enable the company's growth and profitability through advanced analytics techniques. Your responsibilities will include supporting American Eagle business stakeholders with data-driven insights, leading analytics projects from inception to delivery, deriving actionable recommendations from data insights, and ensuring project timelines and accuracy are met. You will also contribute to internal initiatives, handle multiple projects, and demonstrate strong project management skills. The ideal candidate should hold a degree in Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or a related quantitative field with at least 4 years of hands-on experience in analytics or data science. Proficiency in SQL/SAS programming, Business Intelligence tools like Tableau & Power BI, Google Cloud Platform, ETL processes, and Big Data analytics is required. Experience in campaign sizing, customer targeting, and the financial services industry will be beneficial. Desired skills include working with Python/R, big data technologies like Hadoop/Hive/GCP, and report automation. Effective communication skills, the ability to lead strategic projects independently, and manage competing priorities are essential for this role. The role offers Enhanced Flexibility and Choice in work timings, requiring availability between 06:00 AM - 11:30 AM Eastern Time for meetings with global teams.
