AV Programmer

The position is based in Bangalore and requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in AV Programming. As an AV Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance audio-visual control systems. Your role will involve programming and commissioning AV systems, ensuring seamless integration with other technologies, and delivering robust and user-friendly interfaces. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in AV control systems such as Crestron and AMX, exceptional problem-solving skills, and a collaborative mindset to work closely with engineers, technicians, and clients. Your key responsibilities will include: - Developing and implementing control system code, user interfaces, and other configurations for AV equipment. - Integrating AV systems with other technologies like video conferencing software and room scheduling systems. - Conducting thorough testing, debugging, and resolving issues within programmed systems. - Creating and maintaining comprehensive documentation of programming code, system configurations, and technical specifications. - Providing training and support to clients on the operation of AV systems. - Working closely with design engineers, technicians, and clients to achieve project goals. - Keeping abreast of industry trends, new technologies, and advancements in AV programming. To excel in this role, you should have: - Strong technical expertise in AV systems, programming languages such as Crestron Simpl and AMX NetLinx, and control system software. - The ability to diagnose and resolve complex system problems. - Effective communication and customer service skills. - Proficiency in creating clear and concise documentation for end-users and technicians. - A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Computer Science, Electrical Engineering) or equivalent experience. - AVIXA certifications or other relevant certifications may be preferred.
