Role & Responsibilities

Job Title:
DevOps Engineer Migration SME (Remote)
Experience:
5 to 10 years (Minimum 5 years in Autosys + 2 years in DevOps)
Job Type:

Immediate Joiners to Max 30 Days

Position Overview

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer with a strong foundation in software development (Java or equivalent) on Unix platforms and a specialized focus on Autosys and DevOps practices. You will be trained as a Migration SME and play a critical role in large-scale system migrations.

Key Responsibilities

Undergo a 1-month training program to become a Migration Subject Matter Expert.
Work closely with SMEs to plan and execute large-scale application migrations.
Perform CI/CD pipeline integration, testing, automation, and environment setup.
Handle Autosys batch scheduling.
Use scripting (Shell/Python/Perl) for automation and deployment troubleshooting.

Must-Have Skills

Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with Autosys.
At least 2 years of experience in core DevOps tools and practices.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Proficiency with CI/CD tools, Unix systems, and scripting.
