Automotive Testing Engineer

Job Description

Role & responsibilities Tasks: For our test automation project, we are looking for experienced experts with the following focus areas: Development of the Central Control Framework and Vector simulations Integration of the framework and simulation Test automation using CAPL and vCDL Software development for simulations for DSTW, iLBS, ETCS, and MDM in Vector CANoe Programming with CAPL and vTestStudio for interfaces such as SCI, SMI, and SDI Software development through the implementation of test cases using the Vector CAPL and vCDL programming languages Improvement of the Vector CANoe-based development platform Software development and further development of a CANoe-based Desector tool for monitoring and analyzing protocols (SCI, SMI, and SDI communication) Analysis of network communication using the CANoe and Wireshark tools Implementation of the communication matrix for IT security, crypto components, and firewalls from Fortinet and OHB Execution of automated test cases in the CANoe lab environment using network and security systems Integration of CANoe-based automation into the central control framework using Python Preferred candidate profile Requirements: Technical Expertise/Know-how: Experience in developing Vector CANoe software and hardware tools (required) Experience in CANoe CAPL programming (required) Experience with vTestStudio and vCDL (required) Knowledge of firewalls (e.g., B. Fortinet, Genoa) Experience in IP-based vector simulation development (required) Experience in test automation with the CANoe tool (required) Knowledge of network technologies and advanced network protocols Programming skills in Python and C# Experience with AMQP, EtherCAT, and MQTT (required) Knowledge of RaSTA protocols, BTP, DSTW, iLST, and ETCS, as well as experience with RaSTA binding in CANoe (required) Perks and benefits Education/Social Skills: Completed degree in computer science, communications engineering, or a comparable field from a recognized university in Germany Initiative, ability to work in a team, curiosity, and efficient work At least 35 years of verifiable professional experience Willingness to travel required
