Job Desc Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in aftersales vehicle service, diagnostics and troubleshooting preferably in OEM dealerships/workshops Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in automotive diagnostic content development Requirement specification for Automotive Aftersales & Aftermarket diagnostic tester software End to end diagnostic content creation for all automotive systems eg, engine management, electric & hybrid systems, brake control, infotainment, ADAS, transmission, HVAC, airbags etc Understanding the requirement from OEM Specifications & Licensed data Analysis Simulation test of authored diagnostic content using both virtual setup & Vehicle testing Design & creation of workflow and test sequences using IDEs like BDX or Grade-X Evaluation of OE diagnostic data, derivation of useful insights and implementing the same in target tester Verification and validation of authored diagnostic content on the vehicle Thorough review the deliverables and provide recommendations Continuous learning and self-development Closely interact with software engineering team and technical experts from global teams Must Have Skills Strong vehicle system knowledge, including the sub-systems and components Must have proven ability to diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle and make it roadworthy Ability to understand OE system description, service & repair manuals Ability to independently handle diagnostic testers Ability to handle diagnostic testers like VIDA, Xentry, GDS, ADT, SDT-II, DiagBox, HDS, Launch, Autel, G-Scan, Zenith etc Good knowledge on wiring diagrams and conventions Good knowledge of Bosch Aftermarket Diagnostic Tool - ESI [tronic] Sound knowledge on CAN, CAN FD, DoIP, UDS, J1939 Good knowledge of tools like SVN, Github, MFALM, JIRA, BDX, Grade-X, IMSIS+, ODX Studio Experience with analyzer & simulation tools from Vector or Samtec eg, HSX, HS+ etc Good to have Skills Good to have knowledge / experience in Programming languages Good to have exposure in Automation using Python Good to have knowledge in HTML CERTIFICATION REQUIRED 1 Automotive Mechatronics 2 ADAMS Mechatronics Qualifications B.E/B.
