Job Description

As a Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer with 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance and testing, your role involves: - Working effectively in a Sprint Team environment or independently as needed. - Implementing and participating in test automation initiatives using industry best practices. - Utilizing BDD, TDD, and Gherkin spec methodologies in testing. - Performing API and UI test automation to ensure robust defect management. - Developing and executing SQL scripts for data validation. - Working with CI/CD tools like Jenkins to automate build processes. - Collaborating with development teams to ensure SDLC best practices are followed. - Conducting performance testing, regression testing, and exploratory testing as required. In terms of Testing & Automation, you should have experience with JIRA, JavaScript, and Groovy for defect tracking. Additionally, hands-on experience with automation tools such as Junit, Cucumber, Selenium, TestNG, FlexUnit, LoadRunner, and SoapUI is essential. Your Technical Skills should include a strong knowledge of RESTful services, JSON, and XML formats, as well as proficiency in writing SQL queries for Oracle, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL. Experience with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, Git, Putty, and WinSCP is also required. Having a strong understanding of Agile (Scrum/XP) and SDLC processes, as well as knowledge of test planning, automation strategies, and defect tracking will be beneficial. Excellent problem-solving and communication skills are essential for this role. Preferred qualifications include experience with BDD/TDD methodologies and familiarity with Agile development frameworks. Joining our team, you will utilize your expertise in Cucumber, Selenium, API Testing, and XML testing to contribute effectively to our software quality assurance processes.,
