Role Overview: As an Automation Test Engineer at our company, you will be a detail-oriented professional with experience in Selenium for UI automation and REST Assured for API testing. You will play a crucial role in designing, developing, and maintaining robust automated test frameworks to ensure the quality and reliability of our applications. Key Responsibilities: - Design and implement scalable automation frameworks for UI and API testing. - Develop and maintain automated test scripts using Selenium and REST Assured. - Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to define test strategies and ensure coverage. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous validation. - Analyse test results, log defects, and provide actionable feedback to improve product quality. - Utilize CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools for continuous testing. - Utilize Git for source code management and collaboration. - Use reporting tools like Allure, Extent Reports, or similar for test result visualization. - Apply basic SQL knowledge for backend data validation. - Understand Agile/Scrum practices and participate in sprint ceremonies. Qualifications Required: - Proficient in automating web applications using Selenium WebDriver. - Strong hands-on experience in API testing using REST Assured with Java. - Solid understanding of Java for scripting and framework development. - Experience with TestNG or JUnit for test execution and reporting. - Familiarity with build tools like Maven/Gradle for managing dependencies and test lifecycle.
