Description
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining scalable test automation frameworks using Playwright with TypeScript. Your focus will be on automating UI, API (REST), and backend tests to ensure reliability and performance. Additionally, you will integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines such as Git and Jenkins, optimizing test suites for speed and maintainability. Your manual testing responsibilities will include designing and executing manual test cases for complex features, performing exploratory testing to uncover edge cases and usability issues, and verifying bug fixes. You will also be required to conduct regression testing in manual mode when necessary and document and report defects using tools like JIRA. Your collaboration and process-related tasks will involve working closely with developers to shift-left testing and enhance testability. You will participate in requirement reviews to identify test scenarios early on and mentor junior engineers on manual and automation best practices.
