Automation Testing Manager

The Automation Testing Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of ClarityTTS's software products. This full-time, on-site role in Chennai requires a dynamic leader to manage a team of automation testers and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The successful candidate will design and implement robust testing frameworks, establish best practices, and drive innovation in automation testing processes. Lead and manage a team of automation testers to deliver high-quality results within deadlines. Mentor team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement. Collaborate with project managers, developers, and business stakeholders to define testing strategies. Develop, implement, and maintain test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Appium, and other industry-standard solutions. Design and execute API automation scripts leveraging Java, TestNG, and related technologies. Ensure comprehensive test coverage and early detection of defects in the development lifecycle. Define, monitor, and enforce quality assurance standards, processes, and best practices. Oversee the creation of detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases. Implement defect tracking and management systems, ensuring swift resolution. Work closely with Agile development teams to integrate automated testing into the continuous integration and delivery pipelines. Participate in Agile ceremonies, such as sprint planning and retrospectives, to align testing efforts with development goals. Identify potential risks and dependencies in projects and devise mitigation plans. Drive initiatives to improve testing efficiency and reduce time-to-market. Required Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 3 years in automation testing and at least 3 years in a leadership or management role. Hands-on experience in developing and implementing test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium, Appium, or other equivalent tools. Proven expertise in API automation, Java, TestNG, and related technologies. Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC). Technical Skills: In-depth knowledge of software testing methodologies and defect management tools. Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines and tools like Jenkins or similar. Familiarity with performance testing and security testing tools is a plus. Soft Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.,
