Automation Testing Engineer

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts using Selenium WebDriver as the primary automation tool. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translating them into test scenarios. You will also develop and maintain reusable test components and libraries. Expertise in scripting languages such as Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, and C# is essential, along with a strong grasp of core automation concepts like frameworks, CI/CD integration, and cross-browser testing. Integrating automated tests into CI/CD pipelines and ensuring smooth execution in various environments will be part of your responsibilities. You will also be required to perform test data management and set up environments for automated test execution. Analyzing test results, identifying root causes of failures, and working with developers to resolve issues will be crucial. Maintaining detailed documentation of test cases, test scripts, and results, as well as monitoring and reporting on test execution metrics and quality trends, are key aspects of the role. Participation in Agile ceremonies such as sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives is expected. You will also mentor junior QA engineers and contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes. Staying updated with the latest trends and tools in test automation and recommending improvements, including the use of AI-based tools, will be essential. Delivering results on time, working well both independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team, and consistently demonstrating strong team and individual performance are important for success in this role. Building positive and effective relationships with individuals, both internal and external to the organization, is also a key component of the position. Requirements And Qualifications: - Education: Any Graduate - Experience: 3+ Yrs Critical Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements: - 3+ years of experience in automation testing - Strong programming/scripting skills in Python, Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, C# - Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps - Good understanding of SDLC, STLC, and Agile methodologies - Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills Desirable knowledge of Tools: - Tricentis Tosca AS1, AS2 Certified - Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), SQL, JIRA, etc. - Azure DevOps Other Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Certifications: - Experience with API testing using tools like Postman, REST Assured, or SoapUI - Knowledge of test management tools like JIRA, Qtest - Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) - Testing-related certification preferred - Good command over analyzing requirements for automation Applicants may be required to appear onsite at a Wolters Kluwer office as part of the recruitment process.,
