Automation Tester-WebDriver JS or Playwright

Role Overview: As a QA Automation Tester specializing in WebDriver JS or Playwright, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable automated test suites for web applications. Your expertise in Page Object Model (POM) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) frameworks will be crucial in ensuring high-quality software delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using WebDriver JS with Page Object Model (POM) for improved code reusability and maintainability. - Implement BDD (Behavior-Driven Development) using Cucumber.js or similar frameworks to create human-readable test scenarios. - Collaborate with developers, product owners, and QA teams to establish acceptance criteria and achieve comprehensive test coverage. - Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing. - Conduct cross-browser and cross-platform testing to guarantee application compatibility. - Execute API tests (REST) in conjunction with UI automation for end-to-end validation. - Analyze test results, identify defects, and collaborate closely with development teams to resolve issues. - Enhance test execution speed and reliability through parallel execution and efficient test design. Qualifications Required: - 3 - 5 years of experience in WebDriverIO with TypeScript. - Proficiency in Page Object Model (POM) design pattern. - Hands-on experience with BDD frameworks (Cucumber.js, SpecFlow, etc.). - Ability to write Gherkin syntax (Given-When-Then) for test scenarios. - Familiarity with CI/CD integration tools (Azure, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.). - Knowledge of version control systems, such as Git and GitHub. - Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
