Description
As a Test Engineer at FIS, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the development, maintenance, and enhancement of manual or automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, and data sets essential for executing test plans. Your responsibilities will include conducting usability testing to assess the overall system performance, reliability, scalability, and security. You will be expected to effectively communicate testing activities and findings through both oral and written channels, while also providing internal quality assurance support. Collaborating with the test lead, you will help identify risks and develop mitigation strategies. To excel in this role, you should possess a strong background in various testing practices such as Test case creation/execution, Risk-based Testing, Integration testing, Unit Testing, and Regression testing. Proficiency in tools like JIRA, Rally, SPIRA, ALM, Jenkins, Git, and SVN is required. Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Cucumber, Selenium, Web API Testing, Postman, and SOAP UI will be beneficial.
