Automation Tester Senior (Banking /Payments)

The position available is a full-time role at FIS for an experienced individual with a relevant combination of work experience and education, ideally holding a Bachelor of Computer Engineering degree. This role does not require any travel as the travel percentage is 0%. The team you will be a part of focuses on developing, maintaining, and upgrading manual or automated test scripts, utilities, simulators, data sets, and other tools necessary for executing test plans. You will be responsible for performing usability testing to ensure total system performance, reliability, scalability, and security. Effective communication of testing activities and findings in both oral and written forms is essential. Additionally, you will provide internal quality assurance and support the test lead in identifying risks and developing mitigation strategies. The ideal candidate will have good experience in test case creation and execution, various types of testing, risk-based testing, integration testing, unit testing, regression testing, priority/severity assessment. Hands-on experience with tools such as JIRA, Rally, SPIRA, ALM, Jenkins, Git, SVN, and automation tools like Cucumber, Selenium, Web API Testing, Postman, and SOAP UI is required.
