Job Description

Junior / Associate Automation Tester

Role & responsibilities

Key responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and test suites (UI, API, integration, regression).
Convert manual test cases into automated tests and expand automation coverage.
Write reliable, maintainable test scripts using the teams chosen framework (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium, etc.).
Automate API tests using tools/libraries like RestAssured, HTTP client, or Postman/Newman.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Azure Pipelines).
Triage automation failures, debug flakiness, and work with developers to resolve defects.
Create and maintain test data and test environments; run tests on multiple browsers/devices.
Track quality metrics, create test reports, and present test results to stakeholders.
Keep test automation documentation up to date (readme, runbooks).

Preferred candidate profile

Programming:
Python
(at least one language).
UI automation:
Selenium WebDriver
